So overrated it’s hard to believe this is even a thing on Ibiza: Beachouse Club (2. September 2025)

Honestly, why this place even has a right to exist is a miracle to me! Sure, the interior design of the hut and restaurant is rather lovely, no questions asked. Everything else isn’t so much. I decided to go for a sunbed, which accounts for 220 EUR and includes four tin cans of water (a total of 0.8L) and a fresh pineapple. Sure, lovely, but I find the price tag for that a bit ridiculous, but – of course – here, I’m to blame since I knew what I had booked. That being said, that wouldn’t have been worth mentioning if there was any kind of premium experience attached to it – which it wasn’t.

The sunbeds aren’t necessarily what I would call clean, but if you put a towel on it, it kind of works …

… but it doesn’t stop there. The staff was overall – with one exception – very inattentive and not necessarily what I would call friendly, and the young lady who attended the check-in later that day was the absolutely perfect example of someone who doesn’t want to do their job and her face clearly showed it. Frankly, that’s not how you deal with customers. I could go on for an hour here, but will leave it at that.

The food was fine. I went for the “crispy Ibizan calamari and citrus alioli with lime zest” (EUR 33.00), the “asparagus, bimi and broccoli with orange, sweet and sour tahini sauce” (EUR 28.00) and the “summer tomato salad, kalamata olives, shallot vinaigrette, fermented lemon” (EUR 22.00). The calamari were rather disappointing, but the vegetarian dishes were actually enjoyable. So, not a major complaint here, but somehow for the price point I would expected more.

You can argue that it’s naive to book such a place and expect something outstanding, but honestly, I don’t get the hype and I would highly recommend you NOT to visit this place.
