The Enja remains a safe bet for a good and swift business lunch: Restaurant Enja (4. September 2025)
It’s a good six months ago since I’ve last been to the Enja and I was curious if it had changed by any means – turns out, it hasn’t. I went for the “carrot ginger soup with herb oil” (CHF 9.00), which was a nice portion as a starter and actually had a bit of density and wasn’t watery like you so often experience it in restaurants, which serve a soup as a starter.

As a main, I decided to for the “pork secreto with jus, ratatouille and potatoes au gratin” (CHF 34.00), which looked a bit surprising to me when it was served, but it turned out that the pork meat was actually superbly delicious and went great together with the sauce. The ratatouille was great and even had some fruit in it which provided it with a bit of sweetness, which is definitely unusual, but actually quite enjoyable. The potatoes au gratin were delicious too (but served in that box, which made it a bit hard to actually get them out).

So, to sum it up, the dishes in the Enja are tasty, the atmosphere is nice, the service is swift and professional (although they were less swift today) and the prices are superbly fair. So, if you want to enjoy lunch here, make sure to book well in advance.
