The perfect spot for a late night snack: Restaurant Le Heritage @ Le Méridien Hamburg (4. September 2025)
Luckily, the Heritage as a hotel restaurant, is kind of perfect for late diners since the kitchen still takes orders at around 10pm CET, which I find quite impressive (but it was very last minute, tbh). I decided to start with the “Heritage tatar (onsen egg, wild herbs, pickled vegetables, miso)” (EUR 24.00), which wasn’t a huge portion, but quite a tasty tartar, which was served …

… with “brot and butter”, which worked perfectly well with the tartar, and was – for once – enough bread and butter for the whole dish.

As a main, I went for the “linguine (chanterelles, tomatoes, cheese, young spinach) (EUR 32.00), which were okay. Personally, they were sticking together a little too much plus there was an absolute overload of chanterelles. Personally, it was rather an average dish – and for that, I found the EUR 32.00 a bit at the steeper side of things when it comes to pricing.

The place is simple, but overall enjoyable. And the staff is friendly and largely attentive.

So, if you’re staying at the Le Méridien or in its vicinity and are hungry late at night, the Heritage is a great place to eat something warm swiftly. Booking in advance, if you come in earlier during the night, is highly recommended.
