An absolutely mind-blowing experience which leaves you speechless: First Class Suites on SIN – FRA (SG326) (5. October 2025)
Given you’re flying an A380 from Singapore to Frankfurt with Singapore Airlines, you have to walk up to reach the First Class Suites …

… where your own little space expects you. This area is just for you and is really something else. There is so much space in such a “First Class Suite” that it’s a bit confusing almost – I frankly have never seen such a big “seat” (and given the way I got the ticket, I’m definitely not complaining).

What is outstanding on top of everything is the high standard all the staff has. They are truly on top of their game, super attentive, doing a much better job at refilling your water glass than many restaurants, and serve you a little bit of champagne to start. I decided to go with the “Louis Röderer, Cristal, 2015”, which was quite a nice thing to sip on the way up in the sky.

Once you’re airborne, their signature “chicken satay skewers with a spicy sauce, cucumbers, and onions” are served. They are easy to eat and perfect to get your palate started.

Then it was time for a selection of different breads (out of approximately 10 different ones). I decided to pick the “garlic bread, the olive bread, and a cracker” and the bread quality is really good, so, definitely something you should try too.

Then, it’s of course time for another signature dish, their “caviar”. And unlike Lufthansa, where you also get caviar in first, you’re not getting caviar from a ‘communal caviar pot’, but get your own caviar box, which is quite lovely and more generous. And it was delicious!

Given I wanted to eat something typical, although I was already almost exploding, I decided to go for the “noodle soup with different types of meat” and, in all honesty, the soup was great. It was also nice that they had added a few chilis to put in optionally, but I do admit that I would have preferred if they had made the whole thing just a bit spicier. Other than that, the soup was delicious.

Given I prefer a “cheese platter” to any sweets, it was time for cheese. However, that is very often quite disappointing since the selection is boring or the quality is actually not that great, but that wasn’t the case today. The four different cheeses, which were served were not explained (which is a bit of a pity), but they were great and aromatic, so, definitely a good cheese platter up in the air.

Then it was time for dinner already, where you get to pick from the bread basket again – and I picked some brioche and the garlic bread. Yum!

Given I spent the whole day enjoying, I decided to only go for the main course and picked the “wagyu beef filet with broccolini and polenta” – which was almost perfect. The only thing was the actual temperature. I mean, it was perfectly cooked to temperature – and superbly enjoyable, but it could have been a tad warmer.

What baffled me was the actual space you have in the suite. You can build a full-blown bed out and really lay down like in a 90cm bed you might have had as a kid. And it’s quite comfortable.

What wowed me, somehow, even more, was the size of the toilet. We are up in the air at 10’000 meters and there is a toilet where there is space for like 10 people (or more). Frankly, it’s mind-blowing.

So, if you ever ever ever have the chance to get onto a flight with Singapore Airlines in their First Class Suites, do it, it’s so damn worth it!!!
