A decent option for an early Vietnamese dinner: Restaurant Sen (6. October 2025)
It isn’t all too easy to find something, which is swift, tasty, and fair in price when you’re in the area of the main station in Frankfurt. However, the Sen is actually exactly that. A small Vietnamese place, which offers decent dishes with friendly staff, and all of it for a very decent price. I went for the “Kho Quet (steamed vegetables, served with a tasty dip made from dried shrimp and pork belly pieces)” (EUR 9.00), which was overall quite lovely, but somehow I had expected a bit more than just the steamed vegetables without anything else but the dip.

As a main, I went for the “Com Cà Ri Do (red curry with vegetables, eggplants, mushrooms, and duck)” (EUR 14.00), which was also fine. The curry was nice, the veggies in it too, but the duck wasn’t the best one I have tried so far, to be honest. Somehow it felt a bit ‘lower quality’ when it comes to the meat.

However, all in all, especially considering the price, the food is fine, and the staff is friendly and swift. However, the place is rather simple, so, definitely nothing too fancy in terms of interior design. Given the place was absolutely crowded on a Monday evening, I would highly recommend you to book in advance!
