Great hand-made noodles for a late night snack: Lanzhou Lamian Noodle Bar (24. October 2025)
Funny enough, only an hour or so before, I’ve seen this joint online offering great hand-made noodles for less than GBP 10.00 – and given it was just around the corner from my hotel, I figured I should give it a try, so, I did. I went for the “beef noodle soup” (GBP 10.90), which was actually quite lovely. The portion is generous (and yes, with the beef it’s more than GBP 10) and the quality is lovely. The noodles are rich, the broth is richer, and the meat is of decent quality too.
The joint is super simple and not really something I would have walked into if it wasn’t for that online information I found a few moments before. But frankly, the lines, even late at night, speak for themselves. The staff is friendly and is making – overall – sure that you get what you want within no time.
So, overall, if you’re in for a quick noodle treat, then the Lanzhou Lamian Noodle Bar is definitely the place you should visit.
