When the friendly is overly friendly, but inattentive: Baret Bar @ Humboldt Forum (14. November 2025)

I’ve heard about this place a few times already, so, I was curious to finally experience it. The place is lovely, and I can imagine if you sit outside in summer, the place is gorgeous due to the view. That being said, there is one mistake you can make, which is not wait to be seated, which is the decision which was taken that evening after waiting for five minutes and no one showing up. The problem with that is, although the place was almost empty, that they don’t notice you.

Only once I basically waved at the guy, the table was finally served. That being said, the waiter was superbly friendly, truly charming, but the whole staff is really not attentive.
