If you’re into meat, this place is quite great: Restaurant The ASH (9. December 2025)
We went for the “starter plate for two people (black tiger prawns, prime beef bites, beetroot falafel, pimentos de padrón, aioli, bread)” (EUR 19.90), which looked a bit small at first, but actually turned out not only to be enough to get started, but was also rather delicious all in all.

Even better was the “US Hanging Tender (300gr)” (EUR 49.00) with “Sauce Béarnaise” (EUR 2.95), “spinach” and “coleslaw” (EUR 4.90). Frankly, it’s not on the cheap side of things for Germany, but the meat was superbly tender (as the name suggests ;-) ) and had the perfect grill notes. So, although I wasn’t expecting too much, I must admit their meats are quite great.

The place itself is fine, but nothing really outstanding in terms of atmosphere. It’s a bit too dark somehow, and the seating is a bit boring, so, not really a place you would want to enjoy for its atmosphere – but a good one to go for a good piece of meat!
