A Peruvian-Spanish restaurant with average food – at best: Restaurant Lima (13. January 2026)
Finding a place, which offers good food close to the main station isn’t even that easy. Given the Lima had a rating of 4.9 on Google, I figured I should give this place a try and check it out. Firstly, it’s not necessarily a place you find easily since it’s a bit in the backyard of a building, and in fact I have walked by a few times without spotting it. Once you’re there, you will face the fact that there is only one person who attends you leading to substantial waiting times.
I went for the “albóndigas (meatballs with tomato sauce)” (EUR 7.90), which were far from exciting. I mean, sure, they were meat balls and they were served in tomato sauce, but in all honesty, I have had much better meatballs in the past.

Next, I went for the “plato mixto (ceviche and chicharrón de pescado)” (EUR 39.90), which was basically fried fish with a mayo dip and a bit of ceviche. The ceviche was actually surprisingly enjoyable although the junks had been cut quite thickly and I would personally have preferred thinner cuts. The fried fish was just that – fried fish.

So, in all fairness, the place is somewhat nice since it seems to be also drawing in people, but frankly, it is never a 4.9 given the speed of service and the quality of the food. So, all in all, I dare say, this was average at best.
