A decent option for some swift Vietnamese food: Restaurant Amy’s Coffee (13. February 2026)

Given the name of the place, I didn’t really expect them to have Vietnamese dishes on their menu, so, it was a pleasant surprise to figure out that there were actually Vietnamese dishes. I started with the “chicken dumplings (crispy, served with salad and sauce)” (EUR 5.90), which were mainly crispy, and you wouldn’t feel much of the chicken filling, unfortunately.

As a main, I decided to go for the “beef pho (traditional 5-herb broth, served with Vietnamese rice noodles, fresh coriander, and spring onions)” (EUR 13.90) and asked them to add “extra beef” (+ EUR 2.90). The extra beef made it a rather nice portion of beef in that pho – on top of that, the pho was actually quite delicious since the broth was absolutely enjoyable.

Given I hadn’t had breakfast, I was rather hungry and went for the “Tokio roll special (salmon, avocado, cucumber, leek, cream cheese, sesame)” (EUR 10.50) and the “Amy’s roll special (crispy tofu, honey chicken, rocket salad, cucumber, avocado, cream cheese)” (EUR 12.90) and while both were nice, they somehow tasted the same as the crispy fried batter was really not something which would allow you to distinguish the two rolls.

The place is rather crowded, so, it is highly recommended to come early to try to get a table. Once you’ve managed to do so, it’s a good moment to place your order with the friendly and surprisingly attentive service staff. So, all in all, definitely a place you can visit for a decent meal. Nothing extraordinary, but decent.
