A decent location for a swift Italian lunch: Restaurant Mariss Bar (18. February 2026)
Frankly, if it wasn’t for my friend, I don’t think I would have found this place, but luckily she knew it and we went for lunch there. I mean, from the outside, it’s really not that appealing. But once you enter, it actually looks quite decent. With the lunch menu, you’re offered a “menu salad”, which was surprisingly good since there are quite a few ingredients, which were lovely.
As a starter, I decided to go for the “Carpaccio di Manzo (beef carpaccio, rocket salad, Parmesan cheese)” (EUR 15.90), which was tasty. The meat was sliced thinly, and the additional ingredients were applied in perfect balance.
Finally, it was time for the main course in the form of “gnochetti sardi salsiccia (savory ragout with Salsiccia sausage, finished with red wine)” (EUR 15.90), which were good. But the portion was huge, so, frankly, it felt almost like too much, but it was not only a lot, it was good.
The interior is simple, but generally nice, and the staff is friendly, attentive, and swift. So, if you’re looking for a good bargain for lunch, then the Mariss Bar is definitely a nice place, which offers a good selection of dishes for a very fair price.
