A decent breakfast, but definitely too expensive: Restaurant Le Potager @ Le Méridien Munich (19. February 2026)
I must admit, it’s a while ago since I’ve last enjoyed breakfast at the Le Potager at the Le Méridien Munich. And frankly, I kind of remember why, because EUR 42.00 for a breakfast buffet during the week (and I mean, if it’s the weekend, and you spend hours here, it’s a little different) is just way too much. Sure, the selection of pastries and fresh fruit …

… to jams and honey …

… cold cuts and cheese …

… mushrooms, noodles, hashbrowns and soup …

… as well as different breads …

… breaded fried chicken, tortilla, and tomato soup …

… fries, bacon, weisswurst …

… and a variety of eggs is of course quite nice. And frankly, the food is good, nothing to complain. But I just find the business of the place including the noise levels plus the price in misalignment.

So, when you’re staying here and the breakfast is part of your rate, or you get it as a welcome present as an Elite member of Marriott Bonvoy, it’s fine. If you have to pay for it, I tend to say, it’s too expensive.
