A very local beer bar – with an interesting selection of beverages: Mikkeller Tórshavn Bar (19. June 2026)

My sister has been here before, so, I’ve followed the local recommendation, and we ended up here to enjoy a beverage. Given beer always bothers me a little, I went for their “cider”, which was sweet, refreshing, and overall enjoyable.

What I really liked was the fact that it was rather simple and absolutely local. The place has tables and chairs, and a young lady behind the counter. And that’s it. Simple, no decoration, nothing. But you get a good drink for a fair price.

So, all in all, the Mikeller Bar is a good place to do a short pit stop before going for dinner – since all the good restaurants on the Faroe Islands are located around the corner.
