When you fall into the exact same ordering pattern as on your last visit: SWISS First Class Lounge Terminal E (26. June 2026)
It’s almost six years ago since I’ve last been to the Swiss First Class Lounge in Terminal E – and I have very fond memories of these previous visits, so, I was super happy to visit again before taking off with LX180. Somehow I fell into exactly the same pattern as the last time and ordered first a “Swiss hand cut beef tartare, truffle chips, caper pearls, sourdough toast”. I had asked for the spicy version, and I must admit that the spicy version was exactly what had been delivered – lovely meat, great seasoning, but the toast could have been toasted a little more.
Then – again – I went for the “Swiss cheese fondue with pickled vegetables, boiled potatoes and SWISS sourdough bread”, which is super lovely really. Not necessarily a light meal before your long-haul flight, but frankly, it was worth it. I absolutely loved and enjoyed it!
The staff in the lounge did an outstanding job and was superbly friendly and attentive – at all times! And the interior is lovely – which already starts, when you enter the place …
… with a lovely display of Breitling watches.
So, if you ever have the chance to fly First Class from Zurich, then you should definitely do it – it’s an experience of its own! Super worth it!
