Decent breakfast but used to be better: Restaurant Marconi @ Hotel Bristol (29. January 2017)

| March 11, 2017 | 0 Comments

It is more than a year ago since I have had breakfast at the Restaurant Marconi at the Hotel Bristol in Warsaw – and some things have changed. While the layout and design of the main breakfast area have improved (it actually looks nicer and more organized), they have moved the buffet to a separate room where it definitely looks nicer but the selection has become smaller – which is, in my opinion, not really a good development. Especially, given the selection before was actually quite good. However, you still find your basic breakfast needs covered ranging from various freshly pressed juices …

… to some smoothies …

… fruit, yogurts, and cereals …

… as well as bacon and eggs …

… and obviously various types of pastry and breads …

… cold cuts, vegetables, and cheeses. So, overall the selection of dishes is still absolutely okay but not how it used to be. The service in the side room (not that pretty to be honest) was perfect – the two waitresses were there within a couple of seconds when you needed them and were very friendly and swift.

Overall, the restaurant Marconi in the Hotel Bristol is a nice place I can definitely recommend you to have breakfast at if you are staying at the Hotel Bristol. However, honestly, if you do not stay here, I would not recommend you to have breakfast here. I mean, it is good but it is just not as good to do that but absolutely fine.
