Lovely hotel with decent complimentary breakfast: Restaurant La Casa de Sierra Azul (23. Augus 2018)
Given there is no Starwood hotel in Oaxaca, I had to find something else, and I did. The Hotel La Casa de Sierra Azul is actually an absolutely lovely place with friendly staff just making you feel comfortable there. And in the price of approximately CHF 100 per night, there is also “American breakfast” included. You get to pick between tea and coffee and get an orange juice …
… as well as a a “fruit platter” which looks slightly different every day …
… and “pan tostado and guyaba jam”. So, basically all you need to start the day.
Furthermore, you get to pick between scrambled eggs and eggs sunny side up. I went for the “huevos revueltos con mole” which finishes your breakfast perfectly.
The breakfast location is basically the patio in the middle of the hotel which is quite lovely and decorative so you would find yourself very comfortable right away.
All in all, I can recommend you to stay at the Hotel La Casa de Sierra Azul as it is absolutely lovely and the breakfast is actually quite decent too.
