Surprisingly good dishes in a lovely sea front setting: Restaurant Le Bénitier (7. September 2019)
If you are looking for a place to have a tasty breakfast in a nice atmosphere, the Le Bénitier is the right place in Cannes. I went for the “Hawaiian poke bowl with mint sauce, salmon tatar, cucumber, avocado, mango, onion and rice” (EUR 21.00) which is admittedly a bit heavy for a breakfast but definitely amazing in terms of combination of flavors and intensity and size of the dish.
The fact that you can enjoy it as well as your “French fries” (EUR 6.00) with a perfect view of the ocean really adds to that experience. In terms of speed, you have to make sure that you are patient and not in a hurry as it does take a bit until your drinks and your food is served.
However, the Le Bénitier is a nice place with a great atmosphere, decent food, relatively fair prices, and good service.
