20. March 2013: Kronenhalle Bar

The Kronenhalle Bar is quite famous in Zurich – it is a long established place in the heart of Zurich and usually quite cramped – as it was this night. The place is quite 70ies and heavy furnished. The waiter was friendly, helpful but, unfortunately, misunderstood the special request of my company. My “Planter’s Punch” was okay in taste but not overwhelming and I must admit that it was astonishingly small for the price (CHF 19.00).

Overall, the Kronenhalle Bar is famous and that for a reason – it is nice, oldish, traditional if you want, the drinks are okay, the prices accordingly and last but not least, it is also somehow a place to enjoy some tranquility in Zurich.
