Frisch gepresst – aus dem Notizbuch eines Spitzenkochs

| April 10, 2013 | 0 Comments

And yet another book which has been in my stash for years and I never managed to read – but Easter has its benefits, doesn’t it? “Frisch gepresst” by Ivo Adam (owns four restaurants four restaurants in Ascona, Switzerland) is very refreshing to read. It is a collection of anecdotes, lists, facts, and last but not least hints and tipps and tricks for home-chefs. And of course, you find some recipes (usually highlighted in red font) in the book too.

FrischGepresst

Besides the fact that it is written pretty entertaining, it is illustrated with beautiful food pictures from time to time. Definitely worth-wile having and reading and eventually quite practical to use in the kitchen (e.g. making your own spices and oils). Unfortunately, it is out of stock and currently not available. Besides that, it is written in German again, so not really of interest for my international readers.
