13. April 2013: Trischli Club

Well, it is quite okay here – for St. Gallen. Other than that, no thank you. We had a reservation, of course, but still had to wait for more than 10 minutes outside. Once we were let in they actually asked us to pay entrance – I mean, hello? Are you nuts? Booking a table and still paying entrance. Still, we did – the first few paid CHF 20.00, the ones entering later, only CHF 10.00 (I do not actually know how stuff like this happens but it shows how professional they are … NOT!).

The place itself would actually be pretty okay if it was not for the crowd. I mean, the people usually being there – wow, no thank you. Then again, it is St. Gallen – what did I expect?!

Once we found our table – as of course no one really cared to show us where it is – noone was there to take our orders. So, we had to approach the bar and finally were able to get a bottle of Vodka Belvedere (CHF 210.00 incl. side drinks). I consider the price for St. Gallen quite a stretch but then again the other vodkas on the menu were definitely a “I am gonna have a headache the next morning no-go”! The only nice thing they offer is shishas (CHF 20.00) but you have to move to the smoker’s fumoir to be able to enjoy one.

Overall, it is St. Gallen, definitely not the capital of clubbing and while the place would actually be quite nice, the crowd sucks, the service is even worse, and the prices are damn steep for where you are! So, I have been there – for good!
