1. June 2013: El Biguine Bar @Sheraton Madrid Mirasierra Hotel & Spa

| June 29, 2013 | 0 Comments

The “Red Passion” (EUR 12.00, made of rum, orange juice, red fruits and mint) tastes absolutely refreshing and is also nicely strong so you get a bit boozed up while sitting in the sun. But if you are not too fond of the sun, you should rather not have a drink here. Not because it is not nice here, not at all! The atmosphere is absolutely relaxy and great! Worth a visit!

Why I said that then, you wonder? Well, easy: The service is very bad! I mean, okay, they are somehow friendly but they are sooooooooo unattentive and take more than ages to bring you anything, it is incredible! The first waiter came and asked for the order – and promised us to bring the menu. Well, he did, and after “only” 20 minutes, we got it. Then we already knew what to drink in about 2 minutes but the waitress – apparently change of shifts or something – did not show up for another 15 minutes! Then, finally, she came! Order placed – and waiting for another 30 – 35 minutes until the drinks arrived! All she managed to say – after only bringing one of two drins – was “Sorry it took so long!”. Oh come on, at least admit that you forgot the order! Next was asking for the bill? Forget it! Noone showed up for the next 35 minutes – so I went up to the bar to pay! I mean, okay, I get it that you are maybe busy otherwise or lazy but for such a hotel this kind of service is not acceptable! It is pretty much ignoring your customer!

Nice place, good but not exactly cheap drinks but absolutely unacceptable service!
