14. June 2013: Restaurant imagine Sihlcity
The “Chicken Caesar Salad” (CHF 23.50) (with grilled Swiss chicken breast, Parmesan cheese, focaccia croutons and crispy slices of bacon) is quite tasty. The chicken is not dry at all but nicely juicy. The other ingredients of the salad are fine too – only the announced “focaccia croutons” were not part of the salad.
While the price is not exactly low it is quite fine given the fact that the salad is large enough so you would eventually be satisfied after lunch. The prices for the beverages are about as fine as for the food (Henniez, 0,33L, CHF 4.80; a double espresso CHF 5.50). While the place is rather simple it provides you with a generally nice feeling adn is therefore a good place for lunch. The service is friendly, not exactly quick but also rather entertaining (at least in the very moment when my company was offered a pair of red sunglasses as sha had ordered a coke for lunch).
Overall, the Restaurant imagine Sihlcity is a nice place for lunch – simple food, simple place, fair service, fair prices. Nothing to get all fancy about but fair and fine place.
