16. July 2013: Restaurant Ottimo

| July 27, 2013 | 0 Comments

The lunch started with an “cold apple curry soup” which was rich. Thick and intesne in taste it was a good start and it actually kind of continued with the main course.

The “chicken filet in white wine thyme sauce with rice” (EUR 7.50 – including the soup) was good. The filet was still a bit juicy and not too dry. The white wine thyme sauce was very liquid but defintely tasty! I mean, the whole meal was not mind-blowing but is a sound meal for very, very reasonable prices for lunch! Definitely recommendable!

The prices for the beverages are fine too, a Vöslauer pricklend (0,33L) accounts for EUR 2.40. The place itself is quite acceptable – when you sit outside in the sun, the atmosphere is nice. When you are sitting inside, it is not so much but the waitress is very friendly, dedicated and does a good job!
