16. August 2013: Restaurant Weisses Rössli

| August 27, 2013 | 0 Comments

Really great business lunches I must admit – I had “grilled eggplants with pesto vinaigrette and rocket salad” as a starter. The eggplant was aromatic and the pesto vinaigrette mixture provided it with the extra little hint to make it extra tasty.

The main dish today was “veal cut into strips with chanterelles and tagliatelle” (CHF 31.50 including the eggplants). The tagliatelle was nicely al dente, the meat was actually of rather good quality and the sauce was quite delicious too.

But it is not only the tasty food – for very fair prices but also the beverages are reasonably priced (0,5L water for CHF 6.00 or a glass (1dl) of Verdejo for CHF 7.90) and last but not least the little patio where I had lunch that day is actually quite pretty. I mean, the decoration is truly nice, the setting of the table is appealing.

And even if you just look at the garden you can easily realize that someone really put some effort into it with a lot of dedication. And you can also easily see that in the service they provide. Highly dedicated, friendly, attentive and ready to go the extra step if asked (I arrived early but it was no problem for them offering me newspapers and the like, being there whenever I needed something – truly great service).

Overall, I can absolutely recommend the Restaurant Weisses Rössli as it offers a very good lunch for very reasonable prices in a great atmosphere with truly dedicated service! Early reservation very highly recommended!
