29. November 2013: Espit Chupitos Bar
I was recommended the “La Chupiteria” as it is called in Barcelona a couple of times – and I finally made it there this night. Basically, it is a long, thin bar which is very crowded, very full of people so you are better not claustrophobic when you’re entering there. They offer a wide range of shots – a simple one accounts for EUR 2.00 (a beer, San Miguel for EUR 3.00).
My friend recommended me to try the “Monika Lewinsky” and I would almost have gone for it but luckily I was able to watch it before trying it myself. Well, you know what is going to happen when you shake a bottle of beer – yeah, it was fun to see but the guy was not as amused after he had received the “shot” right in his face as the audience was.
In any case, the place is fun, simple, and offers a wide variety of different shots. So, definitely worth going there and trying a shot or two – I heard the “Boyscout” is supposed to be good too – didn’t see or try it though.
