24. April 2010: Bar Caffè Uno
The Bar Caffè Uno is situated very close to the Hyde Park and is easily reachable by the metro using the Central line (getting off at the station “Marble Arch”). Caffè Uno is supposedly a chain and you can find places all over the city.
The Caffè Uno doesn’t look to appealing from the outside but it becomes much better once you’re inside. The interior design is nice and makes you feel cozy as everything is wooden.
The waiters are friendly and helpful and wasn’t even annoyed when we paid around 15 pounds in coins (hell lot of them). Furthermore, it has to be said that unfortunately they didn’t offer everything which was mentioned on the menu when we asked for it which was a bit disappointing. The coffee provided, on the other hand, is quite decent (compared to general UK quality level of coffe) and the food provided (bread with jam and butter) was good as well.
The prices are decent, especially looking at the coffee which is good for the UK. The Caffè Uno is a nice place to go to and have either breakfast or just grab a coffee.
