22. January 2014: Le Loft @Sofitel Vienna
For more than a year I have been told to visit the Le Loft in the Sofitel Vienna and finally I managed – and I do understand why people recommended me the bar – the view from up there with the glass front is absolutely breath-taking. But not only the view itself but also the architectural design where the inside of the bar is reflected in the glass front so you have like a second heaven. The interior design is modern, appealing and generally nice.
What they offer in “looks” they do not offer in service – we sat at the bar and had to wait a marvelous 5 minutes until the waiter decided to come to us and bring us the menu – and another 5 until he decided to take our orders – and yet another 10 until he brought the beer (0,3L, EUR 4.40). Well, frankly, if you go there during the day to enjoy a cup of tea while watching all over Vienna it is definitely worth a visit – else not really.
