24. January 2014: Restaurant Gasthaus Floß

| January 31, 2014 | 0 Comments

The “bated salmon trout from Gut Dornau on a potato cucumber salad with ginger and horseradish” (EUR 12.80) was definitely a great start – I did not recall that the food is that good but I must say it was absolutely great.

The “baked chicken” (EUR 15.90) was juicy, hot, nicely crispy but somehow lacked the appropriate seasoning but …

… the “potato salad with Styrian pumpkin seed oil from Koller” was the perfect sidedish.

The prices are proud for Vienna but then again the dishes are actually quite good – and the prices for the beverages are absolutely reasonable too (0,5L apple black currant spritzer” (EUR 4.40). The service is good – fair and friendly. Overall, the Restaurant Gasthaus Floß is absolutely worth a visit for lunch.
