9. April 2014: Restaurant Perron 9
The “grilled filet of the red mullet on wild garlic risotto with green asparagus” (CHF 32.00) was a bit of a disappointment as the fish had a very intense fishy taste and the wild garlic risotto was already half cold and therefore the cheese in the risotto was already almost solid again. Definitely not the way you want to have a nice lunch.
At least the interior is quite okay and actually appealing as it is light-flooded, spacious and held in a nice combination of wood and playful elements. The waitress tried her best to do a good job and she almost succeeded but she was somehow a bit overstrained in what she was doing.
Frankly, I am a bit torn what to say about the restaurant. I mean, the place is nice and you feel good there but the food was a no go and the price for the food is also quite a stretch but at least the price for the beverages is fair (0,5L water, CHF 6.00) but as the dishes are the most important criterion, I will definitely not go there again so soon and cannot recommend it!
