28. April 2014: Restaurant Rössli

| May 1, 2014 | 0 Comments

The “Hungarian goulash soup” (CHF 7.50) was better than expected – I expected a packaged soup and therefore not much flavour but it was actually prepared with vegetables and meat and was overall a fine start.

The same again applied to the main course – the “Rösslischnitzel large” (CHF 26.50) …

… with salad was large, perfectly bread-crumbed and last but not least absolutely tasty. The salad provided a nice selection of different salads and, furthermore, the sauce was actually home-made refined with dill. Overall, the main course was a sound and tasty dish.

The place itself is nothing special and lacks in atmosphere but the service is friendly and tries hard and the prices are absolutely fair (i.e. 5dl Rhäzünser, CHF 4.80). To sum it up, a sound place to have a quick dinner or lunch – nothing more than that though.
