20. May 2014: Bar L44 @ Sheraton Congress Hotel Frankfurt
The “Moscow Mule” (EUR 12.00) at the Bar L44 in the Sheraton Congress Hotel Frankfurt does not really taste like the Moscow Mules I’m used to but at least it was nicely strong and did its trick. The bar itself is not really appealing – the interior is run down and as the bar is located pretty much in the lobby right next to the entrance it doesn’t have this good “hotel bar feeling”.
However, the service is friendly but limitedly attentive and to top it off, they managed to have no working cash desk this evening. Given that the drink was complimentary due to the SPG Platinum membership it didn’t bother much but besides that it is pretty stupid to run a system update around 10pm when people are still checking in.
So, if you stay at the Sheraton Congress Hotel and you need a drink, go there, else, don’t!
