20. October 2009: Restaurant Ciu’s Bar

| October 21, 2009 | 0 Comments

The Ciu’s Bar is located close to the metro stop “Lima” of the red line. It’s located in a little side street of the Corso Buenos Aires and easily reachable by foot from the metro stop.

The Ciu’s Bar doesn’t look to appealing from the outside as the neon sign is quite cheap and doesn’t give you the impression that there is something good inside – but sometimes the first impression is not the right one!

Ciu

When you enter the place you immediately feel that there is something more to it. It’s persuasive just be the look at the rich buffet right next to the entrance. The place is very crowded with all kinds of people including a lot of locals which is usually a good sign – and indeed it is.

It’s recommended to reserve a table if you’re coming in a larger group as otherwise you have no chance of actually finding a place to sit. If you have made a reservation, that definitely pays off and after ordering a drink for 7 Euros only (recommendation: Megamojito for 10 Euros only), you can conquer the buffet. It has all kinds of different dishes of which all of them are very rich and tasty. Nothing to complain about here.

It takes quite some time until the drinks actually come but refering to the enormous crowd actually being in the place this is something one must accept.

Nevertheless, the drinks are good, the price is comparabily low for Milan and the buffet is really rich. Therefor, an absolute must to have tried at least once! But remember: Call them and safe a table!
