25. September 2014: Restaurant @ Mövenpick Hotel Oberursel
While not really spending a night at the Mövenpick Hotel Oberursel but rather a seminar I only had the chance to have seminar lunch at this premise. The selection which is offered ranges from a nice starters buffet to a large selection of main courses and even has a dessert buffet. The food itself is overall quite fine. The starter selection is good, the taste of the dishes is fine.
Among the main courses you can at least find one course which suits you – and it is actually pretty okay in taste. The same applies for the dessert buffet – simple but fair and obviously they serve Mövenpick icecream.
The atmosphere of the place is not really outstanding to be fair. It is rather an incredibly simple place which is fine to have a quick lunch but definitely not what I call appealing. The service is – ehm, well, difficult to say really as almost never around – friendly, I suppose. So, all in all, the lunch at the Restaurant @ Mövenpick Hotel Oberursel is very fine if you are there anyway. Else, I would not recommend you to go there for lunch.
