24. October 2014: Restaurant Olivé @ Radisson Blu St. Gallen

| December 27, 2014 | 0 Comments

While staying at the Radisson Blu in St. Gallen is not exactly cheap, the breakfast is quite fair in price (CHF 27.00). You get to pick from a normal but not exhaustive buffet where you find different kinds of bread …

… a rather small selection of juices …

… and a large number of pots. While you are wondering what you can find in the pots – as the name tags are all aligned in the back and not allocated to the pots – you realize it is all the greasy but good stuff like bacon, eggs, sausages, meat balls, and so on.

The quality of the dishes is fine – again nothing extraordinary in any direction. With regards to the atmosphere of the place, the restaurant is actually quite nice and if the sun is out it is really enjoyable.

The waiters are attentive and do a good job – when you are finally taking your seat, the waitress approaches you to ask if you want to drink anything – and brings the green tea within two minutes to your table.

Overall, the breakfast at the Restaurant Olivé in the Radisson Blu St. Gallen is quite a nice experience for a hotel breakfast – especially for that price.
