29. May 2010: Bar max

| May 30, 2010 | 0 Comments

The bar max is located in walking distance from the main station of Lucerne. It’s therefore easily reachable by various means of public transportation.

The bar is located close to the “Vögeligärtli” park. There are tables located outside which is a good place to sit down and just watch people and cars passing by. Still, it’s somehow suboptimal as the cars going by are somehow disturbing. It looks okay from the outside and quite nice from the inside as the whole interior design is somehow held in the 80s style, even including a partial car as design.

The service is friendly, helpful and ready for a joke or two – we were a group holding a bachelor’s party and the waiters didn’t throw us out but actually support us.

The prices are quite okay regarding the fact you only have to pay 5 CHF per beer. The bar max is definitely a nice place to go have a drink and just hang out – it’s getting quite crowded though in the evening when there’s a lot of people (and you can’t sit outside when the weather’s bad).
