13. December 2014: Restaurant Zoilo
The Restaurant Zoilo is still an absolutely nice place to enyjo a good glass of wine – I went for 0,375L “Abasto” (GBP 17.50) and together with olives (GBP 2.50) and some sparkling water (GBP 1.75) you can spend hours sitting at the bar enjoying the surroundings, the atmosphere, the friendliness of the staff.
What is pretty hip in London during the Christmas Season is something called “Street Smart – helping the homeless” (http://www.streetsmart.org.uk) which I consider a great initiative as with every bill paid, GBP 1.00 goes to the homeless. However, this time there was no information leaflet coming with the bill which I consider a bit unfortunate to be honest.
However, the Restaurant Zoilo is definitely a great place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine – and apparently the dishes are also quite good there if you go for dinner. Important though that you book way in advance as the place is full every time in the evening when I’m there.
