30. May 2010: Restaurant Lily’s Stomach Supply

| May 30, 2010 | 0 Comments

The Restaurant Lily’s Stomach Supply – better known as just Lily’s – is situated in the Langstrasse located right between Zürich main station and Zürich Hardbrücke. So it’s easily reachable by various means of transportation (trains, buses, s-trains, etc.).

The place doesn’t look to interesting from the outside and it’s easily overseen.

The interior design is modern and simple. But the tables are arranged in a way so you’ll actually be sharing the table with strangers. Although it’s bright and open-spaced, it has one big disadvantage, you can smell the Japanese food all over the place which is caused by the open kitchen. But at least is has the advantage of looking good.

The food is quite good – the curries are recommendable (Masaman Curry and Lambcurry have been tried out). It must be said though that the concept of “spicy” is not really spicy. The prices on-the-go are okay for Zurich (costing around CHF 15 to CHF 20 per dish).
