31. May 2015: Luma Delikatessen @ Street Food Festival No. 3
I obviously had to try a second little dish and when I passed the “Luma Delikatessen” and saw the “Pata Negra Burger” (CHF 9.00) I knew I had to try it. And I must admit, I was disappointed. I have had Luma beef before and I was positively surprised – my mind wasn’t blown away but it was definitely pleasant. So I expected the pata negra burger to be somehow “special” too – well, it wasn’t. The patty didn’t taste like much and neither did the buns.
The booth looked nice and somehow professional …
… and so did the equipment …
… but when you see the patties and then taste them, it becomes clear pretty easily that if you are looking for something special, taste-wise, you have come to the wrong place.
However, the statement remains – it is worth visiting the next Street Food Festival which takes place in September!
