29. July 2015: Restaurant V!OR
According to some friends of mine, the burger at V!OR belongs to the best in Zurich. I dare to differe. The “Chilli Burger 6,7oz (pure Swiss black angus beef with jalapeños)” (CHF 28.00) and crispy bacon (+CHF 2.00) was absolutely okay. The meat portion was big enough and the buns were not too stroppy. Neither were the French fries.
However, if you bite into the burger, there is this moment when you expect to be like “wow”, that moment just didn’t come. The atmosphere is more like in a club (and the place later on turns into a club) so not really a place to eat out (atmosphere-wise). The waitress is friendly but not the quickest. So, overall, “best burger in town?” – I don’t think so.
