29. July 2015: hong-kong food paradise
I am not sure if the word “paradise” is appropriate for the place called “hong-kong food paradise”. It is more like a pick up restaurant for food – and then I figured, there is actually a seating area. However, I went for “fried duck” (CHF 24.00) which was prepared in like two minutes (not sure if that is generally speaking a good sign). As I was hungry, I didn’t mind but then I was informed that they only accept cash!
I mean, WTF? At leats write it down somewhere visibly to make sure everybody is aware of this fact and brings the cash. So, I was obviously quite annoyed, especially, as the next ATM is like a three minutes walk. I mean, three minutes is not bad at all, but you’d probably don’t want your food to get cold in the meanwhile.
What surprised me a bit though was the quality of the dish. I mean, it was super simple but it was actually quite good in taste! So, if you are starving and want to grab a quick bite, the hong-kong food paradise is absolutely fine. If you are having a bit of a formal part in the lunch, you should’nt go.
