23. October 2015: Restaurant Aber
While walking to our dinner we passed this place and it looked quite appealing so we decided to head here for a drink after dinner. Despite the somehow odd name “but” (aber is German for but), the place is very atmospheric. As it was quite crowded it was not that easy to get a place to sit down and have a drink but we managed to get a spot. And it was worth it. The “Moscow Mule (vodka, cucumber, ginger beer)” (EUR 10.00) was very good. The “Dark & Stormy (rum, lime, ginger beer)” (EUR 10.00) was very lovely too.
The place is not only good due to its drinks but also due to its atmosphere and the relaxed way of the staff. Last but not least, the prices are fair (0,5L water, EUR 4.00; double espresso, EUR 6.00). I will definitely pay the Restaurant Aber a visit next time – for dinner. Booking highly recommended.
