31. October 2015: Caffé San Marco

| January 12, 2016 | 0 Comments

The Caffé San Marco is a very traditional caffé located centrally in Trieste. Immediately, when you have entered, you can figure that it is a place full of locals (as well as tourists) as you can see very many unique individuals.

The concept is a bit special as you have to wait for the waitress to come to your table to take your order and then it comes piece by piece randomly to your table. The waitress was definitely not sure who ordered what and while she was friendly she was not really an attentive individual.

The good thing though is, when you want to leave and pay the bill, you just go up to the counter and pay. Some efficiency at least. However, the place is very atmospheric, seemingly full of history – lovely.
