22. November 2015: Restaurant Bristol Lounge
I ate at the Restaurant Bristol Lounge and was invited by the Bristol Hotel. As an amuse bouche, they served a “roasted chicken with lamb’s lettuce” which was tiny but lovely.
As a starter I went for the “beef tartare” (EUR 22.00) and as a main I had the “Ravioli filled with forest mushrooms, rosemary, honey, avocado and “Belper” cheese” (EUR 18.50).
Both dishes were actually quite tasty and the ravioli were perfectly cooked al dente just how you would want them to be.
The service was very dedicated and passionate. The waiter was always there when you needed him. And the atmosphere in the Bristol Lounge was lovely as always. However, I recommend you to not sit down on a sofa for dinner but to use the tables with proper chairs – as you are quite sunk into the sofa when you eat. Not entirely comfortable but it was my (not so optimal) choice.
