Absolutely decent business lunch: Restaurant Aura (27. April 2016)

| June 30, 2016 | 0 Comments

If you are looking for a good, quick and tasty business lunch, the Restaurant Aura offers just that. When you are seated there is already bread and spread waiting for you. If you have a business lunch though, it would be advisable to maybe have more than two pieces of bread there.

The menu this day started with a “white asparagus soup” which was creamy and yummy …

… followed by a “tuna steak with vegetables and a grilled tomato”. And while the dish looked good, the tuna was definitely overcooked. I mean, it was still fine as it had a certain “juiciness”, however, the tuna could have been way less cooked for my personal gusto which would have made it an even better dish.

The “wild garlic spaetzle” which came as a side dish were – again – good but they were a bit too dry for my gusto. Still, as well as the tuna steak they were absolutely good – and given the whole menu accounts for only CHF 38.00 (which is super cheap for Zurich), I think one cannot really complain.

The atmosphere at the Restaurant Aura is lovely as you are seated with a view into the kitchen and the decoration of the place is quite appealing. The service is friendly and generally quite attentive – actually way more than I had expected previously given it was absolutely packed for lunch. If you are looking for a not so pricey, quick and good business lunch, the restaurant Aura is definitely the place to visit. Booking in advance is not only recommended but actually a must.
