Very fair priced lunch meals: Restaurant Loft Five (19. May 2016)
The “speedy lunch offer” is actually quite amazing – they promise you to deliver your lunch within 15 minutes or else it is one the house. And it actually works. Today, it was “red lentil soup, a small salad, and grilled chicken skewers with lukewarm couscous and a yogurt dip” (CHF 29.00). And it was actually served within the 15 minutes. The lentil soup was richer than I expected – not as watery as I would have thought. The salad was simple but did the trick and the chicken skewers were absolutely fine with the dip. For my personal gusto, the couscous was definitely too dry and compared to the rest of the elements of the dish, the couscous was way too much. But for CHF 29.00 for all that, there is absolutely nothing you can complain about.
The atmosphere is nice, the service was very friendly and swift. What is of essence though, is to book a table in advance as the place was absolutely stuffed for lunch. All in all, definitely recommendable for a quick, kind of healthy and reasonably priced lunch.
