Lovely breakfast buffet for Sunday brunch: Tee Tea Thé (22. May 2016)

| July 30, 2016 | 0 Comments

I was a bit worried when my friend suggested to have breakfast at a place which is called “tea” (in three different languages). However, my skepticism was unfounded. For a mere EUR 14.90 you get to pick your breakfast plus as much tea as you want from the breakfast buffet …

… which offers basically everything you need – ranging from scrambled eggs (which you have to order separately) to mozzarella, various salads, bread and jams, cold cuts and salmon.

Although the selection looks small at first, there is definitely more than enough for you to pick from so you will have had enough. And on top of that, the food is actually very tasty!

As mentioned above, you also get to have as many teas as you want – which you can’t pick from the overall list of various teas which encompasses approximately 50 different teas (or even more) but you get to pick from 16 different teas. And not that cheap stuff which is bagged but really the fresh kind of tea – lovely!

If you want other beverages than tea though, you have to order them separately. A small glass of orange juice is included (0,2L), if you are interested in a bit a bigger glass or more of it (i.e. 0,4L orange juice) you will be charged (EUR 3.20) which is also true for sparkling water (0,75L; EUR 5.30).

The place is very simple but at the same time quite lovely in its simplicity and it has adjacent to the restaurant area a small shop where you get to buy all kinds of small lovely stuff. The waiter – which seemed to be the owner at the same time – was friendly and attentive. Only once it got a bit more crowded you would have to be patient some times until he showed up again at your table. Overall, I was very positively surprised by the offer of Tee Tea Thé and can absolutely recommend it!
