Healthy dishes with friendly service: Restaurant Juice Market (6. August 2016)
The Juice Market is a place to go if you are into various drinks prepared with fresh vegetables and fruit. I decided to have a “blueberry lassi” (0,3L, CHF 10.50) which was great in taste but rather expensive for 0,3l. For lunch I decided to have a “Moroccan Salad (pepperoni, cucumbers, onions, olives)” (CHF 22.50) and added “chicken” (+ CHF 7.50) and while the salad was actually rich, the chicken was absolutely taste-less, in its literal sense. It tasted like one of these chicken salads you can buy from the supermarket – artifical.
The place is located close to Bahnhofstrasse so it is atmospheric and lively. The place itself is rather small if you want to sit outside so you can’t order too much as the tables are tiny but the service is friendly and swift. The prices are fair – besides for the chicken – which is also true for the water, i.e. Appenzeller still, 0,5l, CHF 6.50.
