Outstanding breakfast as always: Restaurant ZEN @ The Westin Grand Munich (9. October 2016)

| November 8, 2016 | 0 Comments

I just love to be back in this hotel and this restaurant – probably because I have spent 14 months here. But also because the breakfast is just absolutely outstanding. You get pretty much everything – from great omelets (ham & cheese) up to Asian dishes like spring rolls, some eggs in vinegar, samosas, and what not. To the regular European food like bacon, eggs, sausages, white sausages with sweet mustard, …

… to yogurt and fresh fruit …

… and a variety of different breads …

… not to forget fresh fruit, cheese, and cold cuts.

Overall, the selection and quality of dishes is still outstanding although they do not have the strawberry and kiwi juice anymore which I consider a pity but at least they had a nice watermelon mint juice which did the trick.

The interior is still lovely and you have enough space to enjoy your breakfast. However, the service is varying in quality depending on the day. The first day, the waitress was very friendly and helpful, while on the second day it was more of a “dude, I do not want to serve you” and the only thing I asked for was a green tea.

Still, if you stay at the Westin Grand, I can recommend you to use the time and have breakfast in the ZEN restaurant.
