Asian dishes with an unfriendly waiter: Restaurant Wagamama (15. October 2016)
It is quite some time ago since I have been at a Wagamama – and I kind of remember why I do not go there usually. However, given a good friend wanted to go there, we ended up in the Wagamama. Well, the problem was that the waiter who was receiving us was being an incredibly unfriendly person as we had to wait until we were brought to the table while it was actually almost empty. And I do not mind waiting, but I do mind your tone, young man!
Once seated, the waiter popped by and halfheartedly apologized for his behaviour earlier. Well, maybe you should have thought about that before! In any case, I ordered the “Yaki Udon (Udon noodles in curry oil with chicken, prawns, chikuwa, egg, beansprouts, leeks, mushrooms and peppers, garnished with fried shallots, pickled ginger and sesame seeds)” (EUR 14.95) which was served rather quickly and actually quite tasty.
Overall, the Restaurant Wagamama is okay to visit if you want some decent Asian food which is served rather quickly and at affordable prices (also true for Tiger Beer, 0,33l, EUR 4.75). But in terms of atmosphere, it is not necessarily a place I would personally recommend – not even mentioning the “friendliness” of the waiter!
