Decent hotel burger: Lounge @ Hyatt Regency Düsseldorf (18. November 2016)
If you are hungry after midnight, the Lounge at the Hyatt Düsseldorf is a good place to enjoy a hearty burger. I went for the “Hyatt Beef Burger (minced meat, sesame bun, burger sauce, salad, tomato, cornichons, red onion)” (EUR 16.00) which was served with French fries. The burger was delicious but the buns were rather crunchy and not really to my liking.
The “Moscow Mule” (EUR 14.00) as well as the “French Mule” (EUR 14.00) are both good drinks and are served in the lovely tin cup you would want them to be served in. The bar is atmospheric but definitely also a place to be seen and, therefore, it attracts quite some gold diggers (or at least they looked like).
The service is friendly and considerate but not really up to the task – especially given the high activity. Our waiter passed by various times even when we waved at him. Well, overall, the bar is nice but somehow it is not really a place you would want to if you are not a) staying at the hotel, b) being a gold digger, or c) looking for a gold digger.
